In 2004, MACS expanded its courier division to include freight services.  This division specializes in time-sensitive and just-in-time deliveries across the United States.  These services include:
  • Scheduled Delivery: set deliveries or appointments, daily, weekly, monthly at set pickup and destination points.
  • On Demand Delivery: Random deliveries called in to deliver to all points.

MACS Courier Service, LLC works off of a direct drive system instead of a spoke and hub system.  The benefits of using a direct drive system:

  • Faster Pickup Time

  • Faster Delivery Time

  • Shorter Transit Time

  • Less Handling of Packages = less chance of damages

  • Less Error due to mistakes in routing

This division utilizes the following equipment:

  • Cargo Vans: utilizing space and price, MACS uses cargo vans to haul up to 2 pallets and / or 1000 pound of freight across the service area.
  • 24’ / 26’ Box Trucks: all box trucks are equipped with lift gates, straps, pallet jacks, and hand-trucks.  These trucks can haul up to 16 standard skids.
